London Punk festival : morning
Some pictures with my new friends and guides for this festival day through the punk culture.
These guys are part of the punk community since its birth! Punk rose up when they were teens and now, they are adults, with a job, kids, responsibilities… But today, they decided to go back 43 years ago. Most of their clothes and items are handmade. Actually, you can turn anything into a unique puck version with some badges, stickers and markers. For example, I took a classical black leather jacket and pinned some badges on it;an old tee-shirt: some cuts and you have a really nice result, and the more it’s “destroyed”, the best it looks; of course, a black jean with big holes in it, Doc Martens (obviously), and the little detail that completes the whole look: safety pin the ear, instead of a boring earring.
